#52GameChallenge for GJJ Games - 2018

This year I'll again be participating in the 52 Game Challenge, proposed by Southern Starr Games, where I try to play at least one tabletop game with my family and friends every week.  Last year I played 162 different games (down from 237 in 2016), and many of those multiple times during multiple weeks.  Last year my gaming fell a bit short, but that's because we added a new family member, so my time was focused elsewhere. This year I'm hoping to squeeze more gaming back into the schedule again as the littlest guy gets a bit bigger.

I challenge you to do the same with your family!  Just one game a week, where players are unplugged and interacting.  See how it changes your family for the better!  Post the games you play to Facebook or any other social media site with the hashtag #52GameChallenge

So here's a list of the games I've played each week throughout 2018.  (I'll put a * next to games that were played with someone other than my kids and/or wife, and a + next to games my family played without me.)  Italicized games were played by me for the first time this year.  Bold games are games I played for the very first time ever.  Each week I'll also list a series of numbers in the format of 1|2|3|4|5|6 where the numbers are:
  1. The number of games played that week by my whole family.  
  2. The number of games I played that week.  
  3. The number of games I played for the first time ever (or at least since keeping track).
  4. The number of games I played for the first time this year.  
  5. The total number of games I've played for the first time ever this year.  (101 in 2017)
  6. The total number of games I played this year.  (162 in 2017)
