GJJ Games will be live streaming 24 hours of gaming! I'll be gaming with my family, solo, showing off some games, and maybe even some virtual gaming with my audience! A huge Thank You to Chris from The Charity Boardgamer for a bunch of tips and help with figuring out how to best livestream this event.
Charity Auction Details:
The annual charity auction is a great way to find a new home for some of your old games while also earning some store credit for some new games and helping out a great cause! You may bring in your old games to the Gaming Goose in DeKalb or Elgin for two weeks before the event. After the auction is over those that donated games will receive the full sale price in store credit. At least 20% of the sale price will go to Extra Life and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals!

But the auction isn't just for used games. A number of awesome sponsors donate games every year to support this cause! You'll be able to bid on some amazing titles from some amazing publishers and every penny from those sales goes straight to charity!
We'll have hundreds of games donated by both local gamers and board game community insiders (publishers, media creators, vendors, and more)! So get ready to clear out your shelves and restock them with some great new titles and some great deals, all while helping out sick kids in need!
The auction will run for one week, starting at 7pm, Friday, November 6 and ending at 11:59pm, Friday, November 13. Times are Central.
If you are providing games, please bring them to The Gaming Goose in DeKalb or Elgin no later than Monday, 11/2. Please use this form if you are submitting games: http://georgejaros.com/files/2020-Charity-Auction-Form.pdf
After the auction is over those that donated games will receive the full sale price in store credit. At least 20% of the sale price will go to Extra Life (the rest covers the cost of the store credit). If you would prefer that 100% of your earnings on a game go to the charity you can do that and not receive the store credit.
Winners of the auction items will be contacted by The Gaming Goose to coordinate payment (PayPal, credit, or cash) as well as pickup or delivery. Games may be shipped for actual shipping fees or picked up from The Gaming Goose in DeKalb or Elgin. Other arrangements may be possible as well.
