How Can GJJ Games Help Promote Your Game?

At GJJ Games I love helping people promote their games!  I have a variety of both free and low-cost opportunities for publishers and designers to show off their games to my audiences on my blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other outlets.  I'm also happy to promote games that I just enjoy playing with my family and friends!

Below are some of the ways I can help you promote your games (or other game-related products and services).  Plus, I'm always open to new ideas!

Most of my content is written, however I have been experimenting more with video lately, so I'm happy to work with you for affordable video promotions, too.

If you are interested in working with me, just reach out via my Contact Page.
  • Game Reviews - I do review a lot of games, but lately, especially since the pandemic, I have been extremely selective in games I accept for reviews.  It must be a game that I am interested in, feel I can convince my family to play, and does not have a quick turnaround required.  My opportunities to play games have been very limited in the past year and I've only been playing with my family, who all have very busy schedules.  So, while I love learning and playing new games, without a dedicated game night with my main game group, review spaces are usually not available until life gets back to normal.  Game reviews are free - I never charge a fee for a review and I will not review a game if you are a paid sponsor through my Patreon (though I offer other types of content for sponsors).

  • People Behind the Meeples - I run an interview series where I feature a new game designer each week.  If you'd like to be featured, just head over to http://georgejaros.com/PBM to learn more and fill out the interview questionnaire.  Having a featured interview is free, and I'm happy to work with you to work out a date that works best to promote your game.  I do often get interviews scheduled months in advance, so if your desired date is already scheduled there are a few low-cost options that allow me to rearrange the schedule to get your interview featured at the best time for you.

  • Press Releases - If you have a press release already written that you'd like me to share on your site, I'm happy to do that for free.  Just send me the press release and I'll share it on the site.

  • Unboxing Articles - I also do unboxing articles where I take a number of photos of your game and the components.  I do these for free, however, I do need a copy of the game to do an unboxing.

  • Giveaways - I'm always happy to help you run and promote your Tabletop Game Giveaways!  I have several options available for running or advertising giveaways.  I can run a giveaway for you on my outlets (blog, social media, etc.) or advertise a giveaway that you are running through another outlet.  I run the Boardgame Giveaways & Contests - Tabletop, Board, and Card Games group on Facebook, a worldwide community of over 5,000 people (and growing) specifically interested in tabletop games.  The header banner in the group is available for you to advertise your giveaways.  Depending on the type of giveaway you want to run or advertise, there is a small fee.

  • Patreon Sponsorship & Advertising Opportunities - I offer several levels of Patreon Sponsorship that offer advertising opportunities, featured articles, and more.  Sponsorship starts at just $1 per month for a simple mention on my Thank You page and goes up to $50 per month depending on the amount of content you'd like me to produce for your brand.
    Support me on Patreon!
  • Extra Life - Every year I raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals through the Extra Life program.  One of the events I organize is a large board game Charity Auction.  I'm always looking for donations for the auction or just monetary donations directly on my Extra Life Page.  Supporters get special mentions in my social media posts, marketing opportunities in local game stores I partner with, and more!
