 Travel back to billions of years ago and find the path to Life

 

AEON is a board game for 2 to 6 players, ages 12+, which was developed by scientists from the Collaborative Research Center and the Deutsches Museum. The game is based on current scientific knowledge about the origins of the life on Earth, but requires no specific knowledge to play.

Copies of the game are available for pre-order through a crowdfunding campaign from September 8^th to September 13^th 2021.

In AEON, you represent an environment in early Earth, from deep-sea hydrothermal vents to the surface of comets in space. By drawing and placing different tiles, you and your opponents build a network of chemical reactions to produce resources like complex biomolecules and energy.

Investing those resources, you can develop a basic life form with a membrane, a metabolism, and replication. The first to establish all three features wins the game!
